The word sales comes from a Scandinavian word meaning “to serve”. Or so says Deb Bixler, of the “Creat A Cash Flow Show“and Deb Bixler – Party Plan Training. For those of You who don’t know, Deb provides a wealth of information, sales tips, training, and great ideas, on her Sites and FaceBook Pages. Much of that information is there for free! Some of it is by subscription, or at affordable prices. I know I’ve personally learned, and am still learning, from Deb Bixler!

I really liked the statement, “The word sales comes from a Scandinavian word meaning “to serve”.” that was in my Tuesday Tips from Deb this morning. It reminds me of how some Consultants, Home Based Business Reps, feel like they are “Bugging” people when they go to make sales. It also reminds me of the success of those “Sales” people who truly provide “Service” to their clients.
Many Customers, provided proper Service, also become life long friends.
In this High Tech, fast paced world, there is at least one thing that seems to be missing and that is Customer Service.
When we encounter it, it’s a welcome, but rare, encounter and often one we treasure! Especially when the person providing it honestly has our best interests at heart and is truly there to help us meet a need, rather than trying to convince us we need to “buy” something! Right?
So, imagine, as Sales People, what will happen when we go from trying to get them to “Buy” to doing our utmost to meet peoples needs! This concept is one of the many reasons I enjoy providing “Service” through sales, to my Customers (And Friends) with Watkins Products!
When compared on a cost per use basis Watkins Products provide not only great quality, but a sound investment. Often helping Families Save Money on their Grocery Bills, as well as coping with everything from allergies and sensitivities, to getting rid of skin tags, managing hot flashes and night sweats, and more! I joke with my friends, having sold everything from Vacuums to Insurance, that “Now my Customers run toward me, rather than away from me!” Watkins Products are sought after by so many people, I don’t have to convince anyone to “Buy” them! We just let people know they can get them from us, and they do! As we continue to provide the best “Service” possible, our Customers / Friends continue to increase in number, as does our Business!
