Brian Hurlburt Becomes Watkins All Star!!!

Brian Hurlburt joined Watkins as a Wholesale Customer in September 2009 and didn’t think Watkins would work! In fact when he joined Brian told His Watkins Sponsor Angela Horsfal, and Watkins Manager Dawn Thompson, “Don’t expect much!”

Brian planned to have gluten free products for his neighbours and to save 25% on his own products! He really didn’t plan to build a business with Watkins!

Brian remembers thinking, “I’ve tried all the others, things like Amway, Melaleuca, Regal, and such… but none of them worked for me! Why would Watkins be any different!?”

Well, when Brian began to discover the interest in Watkins Products from those in his local area, near Bear River, Nova Scotia, Brian decided to see what would happen if he let his neighbours know he had Watkins Products for sale…

Brian couldn’t believe what excitement it caused, how much people love Watkins Products, and just need someone to buy it from!

It took about 6 month’s before Brian began building his Sales Associate Team and admits that the first five Associates he sponsored he did to prove it wouldn’t work! Brian knew that the people in his area loved Watkins and had discovered he could earn an good part time income from selling Watkins; however based on prior expereince Brian didn’t believe it would work for others!

The thing is those first five proved it works! In fact 18 months later and 3 of those original 5 still sell Watkins! So, not only does it work, it works over the long term! In an industry where 90% of the people quit within 90 days, 3 of the original 5 Associates remain! If we count Brian, that’s 4 out of 6 Watkins Associates that remain and renew!¬†That’s 66% Associate Retention!

By June 2010 Brian had added 4 more Associates, for a total of 9, and a team of 10 counting Brian and Brian reached Watkins Manager Level with about $3000/month in Sales! By the way, 7 of those original 10 Associates still remain with Watkins! That’s 70% Associate Retention!

By August 2010 Brian’s team of Watkins Associate grew to 12 and Brian received a Business Builder Award of $500!

It was at this point that Brian began to take Watkins more serious and went on to add 12 more Watkins Associates to his Team for a total of 25 Watkins Associates spanning the Maritimes in Canada.

By the end of 2010 Brian’s Team had done about $32,000 in Sales and Brian had also earned enough Performance Reward Points to attend the Watkins Leadership Conference in July of 2011, where Brian stayed at the Hilton Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport Mall of America, ate like a King, and all with the Reward Points he had earned during 2010 while working an average of 15 – 20 hours per week!

At the Watkins Leadership Conference, Brian received 8 Awards including that of Top Consultant of the Year and Top New Manager of the Year! It was at this point where Brian went from being skeptical to treating Watkins like a business!

Brian became Top Watkins Sponsor of the month in August 2011 and by the end of August 2011 Brian’s Team Sales has surpassed those of 2010!

Then, in September, Brian with the help of His Team and the support of their Watkins Customers, fulfilled the qualification of becoming Watkins All Stars!

Watkins All Stars are an elite Team of Watkins Associates, consisting of less than 1% of the total number of Associates, who have shown an increase in Business over the previous year, have added at least 12 new Associates to their sales Associate Team, and have had total sales of about $40,000 – $45,000 (30,000 Product Points) in the current Year!

So, congratulations to Brian and his Watkins Sales Associates Team, who Brian has began referring to as “Light Keepers” on their combined efforts and success in obtaining Watkins All Star status!
