Berkshire Pork Chops, Naturally Smoked Bacon, and Pan Fried Potatoes with IPA, Adobo, and Sea Salt

Berkshire Pork Chops from Briden Farm

At Briden Farm we raise Berkshire Pigs, for Woodland Pastured Pork. We work with local Butchers, and a local, traditional, Backyard Smokehouse. This all leads to incredible Pork! Mouthwatering Pork Chops, and incredible Naturally Cured and Smoked Bacon. We’ve been told there’s nothing that’s sold in grocery stores that compares! It kind of reminds us of the goodness of Watkins Products! When we combine the two, it’s definitely an unbeatable combination! 

We took our Cast Iron Frying Pan, added cut up Bacon, we usually use our own rendered Pork Lard. Raised outside, in Sunny, Rotational, Pastures,  it has Vitamin D and Omegas. Berkshire Pork is that Heritage Breed that provides incredible, traditional, flavours. Once the Bacon, or Rendered Lard, begins to melt in the pan we add the Berkshire Pork Chops. Pork Chops we’ve sprinkled with Watkins IPA, Adobo, and Sea Salt! Then, once the meat is nearing doneness, we add about a half cup of tea! Yes, cold tea! We continue to simmer the meat, while the liquid reduces. Then we remove the meat to a plate. Top with the Smoked Bacon and the juices. Leaving just enough juice in the Cast Iron Frying Pan to warm the cut up, day old, baked potatoes! Once they are warmed up, we place the meat and juices back on top of the potatoes and cover. We allow the whole thing to simmer. Once it’s all sufficiently warm, we plate it! 

it is an incredible meal, and with products like these, no wonder we need Watkins Products Reps!
